Filling Berry Smoothie

 

Tasty Berry & Cucumber


Ingredients

- 2/3 cup (160ml) fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2/3 cup (160ml) fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 cup (250ml) milk
- 3cm cucumber

Blend blueberries, strawberries & cucumber together. (if using frozen berries you may need to stir part way through blending). Slowly add milk until smoothie is smooth.

If preferred substitute milk for soy or rice milk.

Orange Detox

Ingredients

- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small knob of ginger
- 2-3 oranges
- 4 carrots

Crush garlic & ginger into small bowl suitable for stovetop. Add 130ml water, cover & bring to boil. Leave broth to cool off. Wash carrots thoroughly, peel & slice oranges. Juice 2 oranges adding a small amount of pulp if you prefer pulpy juices, juice carrots. Add the juice & broth together & shake well.

Orange juice masks the taste of garlic & ginger. If needed juice 1 more orange.
